Karen’s Collectors Cottage, Inc. & Art Gallery welcomes consignors with quality antiques, vintage collectibles, and various valuables. If you are interested in working with us on consignment, please take a few moments to learn about our policy and fee structure.
Karen’s Collectors Cottage, Inc. & Art Gallery Fee Structure
- Our commission is 35% of the selling price over $100.00 and 50% of the selling price $100.00 or under.
- Consignors are paid at the end of the consignment period, after the items are sold.
- Consignments are held a minimum of 90 days.
- We must be in physical possession of consignment items in order to effectively market them and avoid misrepresentation of the product. We guarantee satisfaction to our customers.
At the end of the time agreed upon, the consignor will be contacted about unsold items. At that time the consignor will be given the choice to pick up their items or have them donated to a local charity.
Karen’s Collectors Cottage, Inc. & Art Gallery Policy Guidelines
- We accept Originals and Limited Editions.
- Vintage collectibles are considered made prior to 1950.
- We accept toys, sports-related items, or advertising memorabilia produced prior to 1970.
- We ensure a fixed, fair price FREE OF CHARGE to our consignors regarding all appraised merchandise.
- We market all consignment merchandise.
- Karen’s Collector’s Cottage, Inc. & Art Gallery retains all merchandise in store until sold or until the contracted time is expired.
